Elevating Donor Engagement with a Website Refresh

The redesigned Support the Stage section offers Hartford Stage’s donors a streamlined and engaging user experience. By enhancing navigational structure and visual layout, we’ve made it easier for users to find specific giving opportunities while boosting the visibility of community programs and sponsorship initiatives. This redesign is not about reinventing the wheel; it’s about using existing website tools to make the donation process intuitive and accessible for all users.

In 2024, the overall patronage of the arts is down 37% in Hartford, since 2020. For Hartford Stage, that is a loss of 50% in subscriptions, or $1M in ticket sales.

Setting the Stage for a $20,000,000 Campaign Fundraising Goal

The Set the Stage campaign needed a landing page to direct marketing efforts for donations. By leveraging the existing website tools, the campaign page was crafted to be visually compelling and effective in communicating the urgency and impact of contributions, while also aligning with their broader community mission.

Results-Driven Web Strategy for Increased Conversions​

A low-code/no-code visual builder enabled the project to accelerate quickly. Once content was received, production was streamlined by managing both creative and technical aspects, ensuring a smooth and efficient build process. Tessitura was integrated as a CRM to effectively capture conversions, while a custom dashboard was developed to measure marketing performance and track donor intent, enhancing their overall ability to measure conversion rates and cart abandonment.
