Project Kindness

A Connecticut nonprofit creating awareness for invisible disabilities.

Our Mission

Improving Mental Health Through Connection One Flower at at Time

Research shows that both giving and receiving gratitude have a tangible impact on our physical, emotional, and social health.

Flowers have a long-term positive effect on moods by making us feel less depressed, anxious and agitated after receiving flowers for a higher sense of enjoyment.

Why sunflowers?

A Symbol for a Little More Compassion

Sunflowers are utilized as a symbol for compassion with invisible disabilities, representing the strength and resilience of individuals facing unseen challenges.

By recognizing this symbolism, we foster empathy and awareness, cultivating a more inclusive community where everyone’s struggles are acknowledged and valued.
